About Our Fort Worth Location

Fort Worth, TX is the sister city to Dallas, TX and the other half of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It is the 5th largest city in Texas and the 13th largest city in the United States. It is the county seat of Tarrant County and has a population of nearly 1 million people.

Fort Worth was founded in 1849 as an army outpost when the Treaty of Birds Fort was signed. The treaty established that no one could “pass the line of trading houses”, which was the border with Native American territory to the west. The trading houses were established at the junction of the West Fork and Clear Fork of the Trinity River. To this day, Fort Worth is known as “Where the West Begins”.

As Fort Worth grew, the Fort Worth Stockyards became pivotal to the city’s economy. This was especially true after the Texas and Pacific Railway was completed to Fort Worth. It stimulated a boom that brought new businesses from the north and workers from the war-torn south into the city looking for prosperity. This led to a thriving economy as Fort Worth became an epicenter for cattle trade and transportation.

Today, Fort Worth is still well known for its cattle ranching heritage. It is especially known for being the center of the Texas Longhorn Cattle trade. Fort Worth is also home to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, which is one of the largest stock shows and rodeos in the United States. It is a proud western city that embraces that culture in its many events, venues, and architecture.

Opened in January of 2013, our Fort Worth facility is conveniently close to our Arlington location. This allows us to easily serve our original customer base while expanding into a new market. We have brought with us the same business and customer service philosophies that made us so successful in Arlington. Titan still provides the same great service at a great price. The only difference is that our impound facility is located right here on the Fort Worth lot.

The new location was a big step for us in growing the business and expanding our services list to include non-consent towing and impound. Our lot is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. We meet all the state criteria for operating a storage facility including insurance, fencing, lighting, and drug testing policies put in place by TDLR.

Exceptional Customer Service

One thing will never change: Customer Satisfaction is our number one priority! We provide great service for the prices we charge, and our many glowing reviews speak for themselves. Our dedicated team has a swift response time and the expertise to answer any questions you have.

Still, we encourage our customers to call around and find the best deal. We know that we aren’t always the cheapest option, or perhaps we can’t be the quickest to reach them. They often end up calling us back because they had a great experience on the phone or found that our prices really are competitive within the area.

Anyone can call our office for a free, no-obligation quote for towing services. We offer every potential customer our best price based on their location, vehicle, and mileage towed.

The 7th Most Dangerous Job in America

During the early morning hours of January 4th, 2019, tow truck driver Keith Holt, 46, was struck and killed in a hit-and-run collision on the shoulder of I-20. He was assisting a woman with a stalled vehicle on the side of the highway, the standard procedure for tow truck drivers, when the white Nissan Altima swerved into the right lane shoulder. This workplace condition was common for Holt, and is a regular work environment for a tow truck operator; a job more dangerous than one might think.

Texas Move-Over Law: Keeping Tow Truck Operators Safe

For Titan Towing drivers, safety is the highest priority as they work in precarious situations to move vehicles out of traffic on busy Dallas-Fort Worth freeways. The tow truck operators depend on other drivers to follow laws that keep them, and other motorists, safe.

Titan Does More Than Towing

If an accident occurs on the roadway, most people know that a tow truck driver can help by moving a damaged vehicle off the road or to another location. However, full-service professionals like Titan Towing do much more.

How to Choose a Good Towing Company

There are lots of towing companies in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Some are full-service, like Titan Towing, while others only do tows. No matter what type of service you need, there are some important factors to consider when choosing a towing company.

Drowsy Drivers After Daylight Saving Time

There are certain times of year when tow truck drivers are busier and one of those times has to do with time itself. According to the American Automobile Association (AAA), forty percent more drivers are involved in automobile accidents during Daylight Saving Time which results in about 100,000 more accidents across the country. With many more drivers on the road, heavily populated areas such as Arlington, Dallas, and Fort Worth, can make the demand for a tow truck go up each spring and fall when Daylight Saving Time occurs.

Avoid the Need for a Tow During the Winter Months

Winter weather is just around the corner in DFW bringing the possibility of snow, ice, and increased calls to Titan Towing. During prior winters, we have seen how severe weather can create an unintended ice rink on the roadways of Fort Worth, Arlington, the Mid-Cities, and everywhere in-between. However, that does not mean you will be the one who may need a tow if you take some simple precautions.

One Hundred Years of Tow Truck History

There are lots of people in history that helped shaped the world we live in today. Many of them were inventors like Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Edison who saw a need for improvement and created inventions to change a situation for the better. One such inventor, not as well known as Franklin and Edison, but just as important nonetheless was Ernest Holmes, Sr.
